Hi Everybody,

The time for the May Count on 14 May draws ever closer. I will be compiling the May Count here in Kent County. Last year we had five parties and recorded 139 species and 8583 individuals. Kent is a varied county ranging from the Chester River on the south with it's fringe of loblolly pine and oak in the southwest to the largely hardwood forests of the Sassafras Valley in the north and the oak-hickory-Virginia pine woods of Millington on the east. We would like to have at least the same number of parties afield this year as we had in 2004. Let me know if you would like to participate and where you might be interested in counting (sorry but we can't manage to put everybody at Eastern Neck).
