This morning I hiked three hours at McKeldin Area, Patapsco Valley SP. Birds found included:

Great Blue Heron  1
Broad-winged Hawk  1 adult
Yellow-throated Vireo  1 heard, my first of the year
Blue-headed Vireo  1 heard
WINTER WREN  1, perhaps my last of the season
Ruby-crowned Kinglet  3
Gnatcatcher  10 including a pair adding lichens to the outside of a nest
Parula  6
Yellow-rumped Warbler  3
CERULEAN WARBLER  1 heard, my first of the year
Black-&-white Warbler  3
Ovenbird  1 heard, my first of the year
Louisiana Waterthrush  3 heard

   In the afternoon at Liberty Watershed off Deer Park Road:

Yellow-rumped Warbler  1
Pine Warbler  2 heard
Yellowthroat  1 male

   Still waiting for hummingbirds, thrushes, tanagers, orioles, buntings, other vireos and warblers.
