Roosevelt Island, Wash, DC, 27 Apr 05, 1130-1230
A combined high tide and full moon put the low lying areas of RI under water
today. Disappointingly non-birdy with only 21 species of mostly common
birds noted. Of interest were a singing Prothonotary Warbler and a pair of
No. Rough-winged Swallows carrying nesting material to the underside of the
Roosevelt Bridge.
