I had a few more first-of-the-season species for me (in the Baltimore
area) today, marked with * .

Today (4/27/05):

Milford Mill:
Black-throated Blue Warbler *
Red-eyed Vireo *
Catbird (2) *
Northern Parula
Black & White Warbler
Palm Warbler (yellow)
Louisiana Waterthrush (first one at Milford Mill this season)

I ran into Joan & John Cwi who had seen the Black-throated Blue
Warbler earlier, as well as a
Black-throated Green Warbler
which I missed.

Soldiers Delight:
Prairie Warblers *(3) finally!
Pine Warblers (2) which were there a week ago

Also from yesterday in Howard County
Alpha Ridge Park (4/26):
Eastern Kingbird *

An interesting contrast today to prior days is that there were almost
no Ruby-crowned Kinglets, and very few Myrtle Warblers, and no
Blue-headed Vireos. Still no brown thrushes, Indigo Buntings, and
tanagers.
