Hi all,

I couldn't believe my eyes. I was so close to miss
this incredible bird! MY boss called out to me and
ask me if I had seen any white falcon with a V shape
tail before. It took me 15 seconds to figure out what
he was talking about. Then quickly I ran out the
building and look up where he saw it and right away I
ask for his permission to grab my binocular from my
truck and he says to make it quick as I have more work
to do.

The adult Swallow-tailed Kite was soaring and
catching a thermal about 100' above the treetop. This
bird is unmistakable from any other kite. Large black
and white with black forked tail. It was last seen
headed W toward the W or SW wind. First seen at
407pm.
Gone around 412pm. It may be headed for Blue Mash or
Hughes Hollow to join other kite previous reported
there recently. I had seen this kite at Sean's
backyard last June and few years back in Florida.

A big thank you to my boss for spotted this bird. He
doesn't care much about birds or any wildlife. He just
happens to look up before enter the building. He had
seen vultures, redtails, and kestrel around here
almost everyday.
