Today I was in Charles Co. N. Parulas were singing everywhere I was,
Blue-gray Gnatcatchers were common & at a road that passed over some part of
Mattawoman Creek I saw a beautiful Prothonotory Warbler.

Two Ruby-throated Hummers showed up in our yard in Dameron on Tuesday & the
flock of Cattle Egrets that spend the summer in our neighbor's yard appeared
last Sunday. There were 4 that day on their dock (of all places), Wed. there
were 12, today the group had grown to over 30. Guess the pickins must be better
in their yard than ours, they don't often come to visit us.
