Hi --

Rather a cold and dark morning at Rock Creek Park, DC, and not easy to see
all the birds. However, there had definitely been some movement last night
and we ended up with reasonable diversity but numbers (except for
Yellow-rumps) are still very low.

Warblers: Blue-winged (3), Black-and-White (3-4), Blackburnian (1, singing
male), Black-throated Green (3), Myrtle (~50), Nashville (1), Ovenbird (5),
Parula (1), Palm (1, yellow).

Other migrants: Blue-headed Vireo (5), Red-eyed Vireo (3-4), Rose-breasted
Grosbeak (2), Ruby-crowned Kinglet (4), Gnatcatcher (12, also a nest at
Military Field), Wood Thrush (5), Great Crested Flycatcher (3), Eastern
Kingbird (1), Chipping Sparrow (~30), Field Sparrow (1). Quite a few Towhees
about as well.
