Hi Folks,

I did an early evening walk around Southwest Area Park (Balt. Co.) with my
wife Elaine (we were married in March) and we had some great closeup looks
at a male BOBOLINK in the just-mowed grass on the airfield for model planes.
This bird allowed us to get within 30 feet of him, after all the robins and
grackles had long scattered. Other birds of interest including a hovering
female AM. KESTREL, a BANK SWALLOW with numerous Trees, Rough-wings, and
Barns over the water areas, a GREATER YELLOWLEGS, and a singing BROWN
THRASHER (a very uncommon bird here).
