I saw and heard my first Northern  Waterthrush  this year and the first I have seen in the park.  Right now the best place for migrants these past two days seems to be in the woods between the launching beach and what's called the 'East Beach'.  There is path which connects the two with a bridge thour the marsh,.  I saw the waterthrush yesterday in the rain, and I went back this morning to find it still there, both singing and photogenic.
