At work, first thing this morning was greeted by a singing FOY Catbird. Then heard a Ruby-throated Hummingbird chitter over my head. Later in the afternoon, saw a male hummer perch atop a buckeye tree. They nectar on the buckeye flowers in spring there, as they're earlier-blooming than many other favorites. Heard a Wood Thrush singing at work and also a FOY Common Yellowthroat.

When I returned home, I witnessed a new feeder bird - a Hairy Woodpecker - feeding on the suet.
