Worcester Birders:

Over the decades, Worcester County has received decidedly uneven coverage during the annual MOS May Count, lacking the observer base of the more populous counties on the Western Shore. Nonetheless, it is a great area to bird in spring, as the scores of records from the many years of MOS Conventions at Ocean City can attest (Bob R. – Remember the Yellow-headed Blackbird that hung around the West OC pond for 3 days in 1956?? Can not being born yet be a good reason for missing a bird?!?).

I’ve agree to coordinate coverage this year (a change from last year), for the May 14th event, so please email or contact me below if you plan on participating. Your interest would be welcomed.

Thanks.
