A flock of as many as 100+ BOBOLINKS was present N of Lees Lane in S FRED CO
yesterday in late afternoon.  The location (Lees Ln east of MD 17) is close
to Brunswick & US340. The flock was (i'm guessing distances) 0.5 miles east
of the intersection with 17, before but close to (0.2 mi.) the farm pond on
the right side further up the lane.  The flock was, unfortunately, rather
shy and was staying some distance to the north of the road almost at the
horizon line.  A spotting scope would have been handy...
