The Baltimore Bird Club trip to Patterson Park yesterday found a very low number of migrants with fewer warblers than any day in the past 3 weeks. Luckily the park managed to save face when right at the end of the trip a RED-HEADED WOODPECKER appeared and foraged in oak trees over the heads of the remaining birders.
