Hi,
White-throated Sparrows are still around in small numbers. I saw one this
morning while out with the dog. On my MBC club outing on Saturday to Blue
Mash, I saw a single adult WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW (late) eating dandelion seeds
right in the middle of the grassy trail, very early. Savannahs seem to be gone
now though.

Also still a lingering pair of Blue-winged Teal at the pond at Blue Mash,
along with A. Coot, Solitary and Spotted Sandpipers, a Killdeer with 4 eggs
sitting on her nest right on the gravel entrance road. I had 2 separate pairs of
calling Barred Owls, and was able to call in one from each pair into view at
the edge of their territories. We watched a pair of male (one adult and one
1st yr.) Orchard Orioles battling in the air and on the ground over a female,
and a Yellow-breasted Chat put on a good show.
