Late yesterday afternoon I heard one distant Peeet-zaaaa. Clearly the arrival of an Acadian Flycatcher.
I had hoped it would sing this morning before work, but I had no luck. It always seemed like the E. Wood Pewees and Acadian Flycatchers came about the same time to this area.
Nothing else new except a Red-Shouldered Hawk calling in the distance seen and heard from the Cheverly Metro platform.
