Haven't even lived here 2 weeks, and we already seem to have established a habit, evening walks at the soccerplex. This evening, in addition to meeting a wonderful male Malamute (OK, definitely not a bird) we saw of note:
 
Green Heron
Least Sandpiper - 6
Spotted Sandpiper
Lesser Yellowlegs (a bonified confirmed one this time!)
Eastern Meadowlark
Eastern Bluebird
Yellow Warbler
Am. Goldfinch
Savannah Sparrow
 
Not bad for a 45 minute stroll!
