Hi all On Sat May 14 ,05 I counted birds from Queenstown to just
North of Centerville for May Count . Total was 74 species. highlights were
20 Bobolinks in a field west of Centreville . Also I was delighted to find
a pair of Kingfishers Digging out a nesting Burrow in a pile of sandy soil
from a construction project in the town Limts of Centreville in the
business Park off 213 were Food Lion is and next to a Car repair shop. The
male and Female would take turns going to the entrance scape some soil out
from the last dig go in and out of sight . The other would stand guard till
the other came out , then the guard replaced its mate in the entrance and
repeated the scene . The only thing that would have made this a better
sighting would have been if it had been in my Atlas block. Other Bird
