re: Subject: Some Thoughts on MDOsprey
1. Reply to poster works best for me --
2. No attachments is my preference. I love photos, but can easily
request them or look at a website.
3. I, too, do not want other's religious or political views when
reporting on birds.
Some environmental news is helpful, where habitat is threatened or
when there's good news
of assistance being provided to bird habitat.
4. I'm unsure of whether to submit my lists of birds, since my
sightings are never a first;
even though they may be unreported in my area of the county. (Norm
provided some advice offline
which I found helpful.)
5. I especially appreciate it when posts do not include the entire
message that one is replying to. Snips
are great!
6. In my opinion, small completely voluntary contributions to the list
operations should not compromise Norm's
management or ownership of the list in any way.
7. Thanks to Birds and Maryland Birders! Good job, Norm and Fran!
