I just saw a female rubythroat at our yellow Siberian iris. After perching
for a moment
on the nearby buddleia, she checked out the last of the flowers on our
swamp azalea
before flying off. I still haven't seen her at the feeder, but I am hopeful.
Maybe I should plant more irises.
