On Monday, May 30 a Sandhill Crane was photographed in the Long Green Valley of Baltimore County. It was seen beside Long Green Road between Kanes Road and Long Green Pike at the Bellevale Farm. Thorough searches by a few people on Tuesday did not turn up the bird there or at nearby sites. Perhaps this is the same bird reported at Fallston in Harford County about five miles away.
