Hi All Yesterday eveing 6 - 7 from about 7:00 Pm to about 9:30 Pm  I 
deciced to do  some checking  for Dickcissels in QA and Caroline Co. First 
stop Cherry Lane nearthe intersection of Cedar Lane   north of  Greensboro 
Md delorme map 51 section  B5 . this place has been productive for the last 
several years for this species 1 male was singing from a small Sapling 
across from the yellow sign that  cautions a stop sign is coming up for 
Cedar Lane. birds Here were

1 Dickcissel      Male
1 Blue Grosbeak    singing Male
1 Indigo   Bunting     singing  male
1 Bobwhite   Calling
1 Eastern  Towhee  singing

     Next stop  was Ell Downes Rd  in QA  County Just across the line with 
Caroline County Coming from 313 , near Ingleside Md  delorme  map 51 B4 . 
This place also has produced them for several years but has been hit or miss 
for me { missed them last Year in QA Co}. But last nite was rewarded  With 2 
singing Males  here they were in a field of growing Peas with weedy  ditches 
and borders. The corner closest to 313 was were they were heard as well  as 
seen. One sat up on  the guide wires to an electric pole.   Birds  here

   I also made  a couple of stops for night birds no luck with that though .
