I had an excellent day on Sunday at my Atlas Block in Washington County.  I 
saw 4 adult Wild Turkeys with a number of young birds in tow, so keep your 
eyes open for young turkeys.  I also found an adult and a fledgling Black 
Vulture in a dilapidated building, and found 2-3 fledgling Barred Owls 
along the C&O canal, downstream from Dam #5.  Since I have 5-6 miles of C&O 
canal in my block I wanted to make sure that I confirmed Barred Owl.  Other 
highlights included an Acadian Flycatcher sitting on a nest and a fledgling 
Common Yellowthroat.  A great day!
