Queen Anne Co Atlas Birds for sat June 25,05

  Hi all Atlasing in QA on sat  was pretty good got some new species for 
some blocks. I have Four  blocks worked in three on Sat morning 6:30 Am  to 
12;00 Pm, some species  confrimed  others upgraded some highlights  between 
Queenstown and Grasonville at my  pied Billed grebe pond  there were two 
Families of Grebes  I had 5 young the other 3   adults still attending  them 
one adult chased of another  coming to close. this pond also had a recently 
fledged young Green Heron being chased by a male Red Winged blackbird.  1  
Common Moorhen Seen in addition to a  first in safe date this year American 
Coot  1, i am hoping they have mates on eggs time will tell though .   Near 
Centreville I found  a   Red Bellied woodpecker tendind to young in a  nest 
hole , mom was bringing in food.  Get out there and atlas.
