I just spoke with the 0n-duty park ranger at Sandy Point who saw a Black Skimmer this morning sitting with the gulls near the lifeguard stand.  

Also, the near fledgling cedar waxwings (2) were flapping their winds on the edge of their nest yesterday morning there at the triangleon the left just before the swing-gate entrance to the park.
