Someone needs to send a few hummers our way. We have finally seen our first this week; a pair today.

This morning at my hummingbird feeders was phenomenal! I was seeing up
to 40 hummingbirds at one time, maybe more - it's hard to count that
many moving objects. :) I have about 30 feeders out depending on how
many are being cleaned at any given time, so they have plenty to choose
from. They are drinking about a gallon of sugar water a day. I have one
feeder hanging in the middle of my gazebo, so I can watch them feed
while sitting 3 feet away. Sometimes when I am sitting there, a hummer
will come in and check me out by hovering right in front of my face.
This freaks out some people because it sounds like a huge bee is in your
face. :) If I stand still, I can have my nose practically touching a
feeder and they will feed only inches away.
