Between yesterday's yard work and today's drizzle, there have been some 
good birds down here in Pasadena. 

Some highlights:

Thursday, August 18th

Yard:

Osprey: 5  Flyover, whistling constantly, great to see
TV: 2
RT Hawk: 1  Harassed by Jays as soon as it landed in my yard 
Cooper's Hawk: 1 immature flyover 
RT Hummingbird: 1 

Sunset Beach Community pier:

Laughing Gull: 1
Great Black Back, Herring and RB Gulls
Least Tern: 1
Osprey: 2 

Friday, August 19th

Brandon Woods Pond:

Little Blue Heron: 2 adult 5 immature whites, 1 immature calico
S. Egret: 1 flyover
Green Heron: 1

Kembo Road Area:

Little Blue Heron: 1
Osprey: 1
N. BOBWHITE: 1  They haven't been around much this year.
YB Cuckoo: 1
O. Oriole: 2
