As you are all following the southbound shorebirds coming down from Canada I
thought some of you might be interested to hear what birds are still up
north. I just arrived tonight in Yellowknife, NWT, and am posting some of my
observations about birds I am seeing and the conservation issues affecting
them on my blog: www.borealbirds.org/blog/

I just saw a scruffy, moulting Blackpoll Warbler around 9 PM since it is
just now (10:00) starting to get dark.
