My morning yard walk produced the usual assortment of chipping sparrows, Carolina wrens, blue jays etc. The highlights this morning were 3 male and 2 female Baltimore Orioles and a heard, but not seen, red-breasted nuthatch.

Hummingbirds continue to harass other birds. This morning I saw them chasing a peewee and harass a perched blue jay and chipping sparrow. The hummer was swaying back and forth in front of the chipping sparrow and the sparrow was moving its head side to side in time with the hummer.
Enjoy the day!
