Bill Kulp and I searched for shorebirds in northern Frederick and Carroll counties this morning but there was little activity as water levels continue to fall.

At Mason Dixon Farm in the east pond which is very low:
Blue-winged Teal 1
Green-winged Teal 5
Killdeer 4
Semipalmated Sandpiper 1
Least Sandpiper 15
Pectoral Sandpiper 1

At the north pond (PA):
Solitary Sandpiper 1

At the west pond which is full: many Chimney Swifts, Tree & Barn swallows, several Bank & Cliff swallows

At the New Windsor wetland where the main pond is nearly dry:
Wood Duck 3
Mallard 3
Blue-winged Teal 1
Green-winged Teal 4
Great Blue Heron 1
Green Heron 2

At Little Pipe Creek Park in Union Bridge:
Eastern Kingbird 1, which is getting late for here
