Hi all --

Barry and I made it to Rock Creek Park DC again today, just for about 1 1/2 hour but it was quite a bit slower than yesterday. However, as usual, some good birds were seen. These are all from the Maintenance Yard though folks at the ridge (picnic areas 17/18) saw about the same mix plus a Blackpoll.

Warblers: Black-and-White (2), Blackburnian (2), Chestnut-sided (5), Magnolia (2), Redstart (6), Yellowthroat (4), WORM-EATING (1).

Others: Red-eyed Vireo (5), YELLOW-THROATED VIREO (2, one singing!), Scarlet Tanager (3), Baltimore Oriole (1), Yellowbilled Cuckoo (1, heard only), Wood-pewee (4), House Wren (5), Ruby-throated Hummingbird (5).
