Ran up to Williams Road Pond on my lunch hour for my life Baird's and luckily, the bird was still there. There is very little water left in the front of the pond. There a few birds in the back. I think they were mostly Leasts but I did not have a scope with me. Only a few birds up front, one of each yellowlegs, 1 Killdeer, a couple white-rumps and a few westerns. No herons or egrets anywhere. The Bairds was the most active of the birds but all the birds were antsy as someone kept starting up some kind of equipment at the first house and all the birds would flush at the sound. I have to admit my attention was diverted several times by a couple of beautiful Monarchs sitting on a tree trunk in front of me and the entire place was full of butterflies and dragonflies.
