Hi everyone,
I spent an hour or so at Swan Harbor Farm's marsh area this morning. The
water level was noticeably lower than it was just last week. I did see the
usual suspects there:
Great egret-1, standing on one of the nest box thingies the whole time I
was there
Snowy egret-1
Great Blue Heron-1, flew away as I set up my camera
Green Heron-2
Yellowlegs, probably all lesser- about 20. I didn't get a close enough
look at any of them to tell which were greater and which were lesser.
Least sandpipers- about 15.
Semipalm plover- several. A photo of one is here:

Mourning Dove- About 20, on the wires along the road
Mallard (and possibly other types; I couldn't get close enough to tell)-
about 40 took off as I approached the marsh.
And this mystery bird that I cannot identify:

I did not see any of the many barn/bank/tree swallows that normally hang out
on the wires. There were a few flying around the marsh, though.
