Hello all.

I took some time to visit a few locales in Northern Anne Arundel yesterday. 
Found some terriffic birds. 

Highlights:

Yard (my parents' home in Pasadena):

21 species including:

Black Vulture: 6
Turkey Vulture: 2
Red-tailed Hawk: 1
Osprey: 1 Low flyover
R.C. Kinglet: 1
Slate-colored JUNCO: 1 First of the season for the yard. Vocalized before 
appearing under a hanging feeder.

Ft. Smallwod Park:

Great Blue Heron: 3
Gr. Blk. Bk. Gull: 7
Caspian Tern: 2 
large sterna sp.: 1  Could not rule out Royal Tern on this juvenile 
Wood Duck: 8
SS Hawk: 1  Low pass, brings back Hawk Watch memories!
Cooper's Hawk: 1
Red-tailed Hawk: 1  Probable local bird
Osprey: 1  Hunting the pond

The narrow tree line between the Bay and the pond contained:

WB Nuthatch: 2
C. Yellowthroat: 2
Yellow Warbler: 1
Palm Warbler: 4
Magnolia Warbler: 1
BT Green Warbler: 1
YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER: 10  Nice to see them back. As usual, spotted one and 
the the others just added up.
