Thanks to Mark's new toy and David & Lynette's assistance in locating the bird, Fran and I both managed to see the Curlew Sandpiper at West Pond about 45 minutes after Mark's posting.  The bird was browsing along the back edge of the pond among semi plovers, peeps, killdeer, and Canada Gooses.

Gotta love those new state birds!
