These are the birds I spotted on Saturday at the Little Patuxent Oxbow Lake
Nature Preserve (8-10am):

Highlight: 2 Blue-winged Teals

In amongst the Canada Geese across the lake from the observation platform,
was a white goose about the same size. I could not pick out any other
identifying features with my bins.

American Robins
Red-winged Blackbirds
Common Grackle
Pileated Woodpecker
American Crow
Northern Flicker
Red-shouldered Hawk
Canada Geese
Mallard Duck
Blue Jay
Belted Kingfisher
Wood Ducks
Chimney Swifts
Tufted Titmouse
BLUE-WINGED TEAL (2)
Dark-eyed Juncos (first of the season, saw them the next day at the
National Wildlife Visitor Center, too)
Common Yellowthroat
Tree Swallows
Carolina Chickadees
Northern Cardinal
