I was there Monday.  There was absolutely nothing but Canada Geese on the pond but it was mid-afternoon before I got there.  I was also there Friday with three friends and there was one bird flying around with a large white patch on its rump area but we never got a good enough ID on a sitting bird to be positive we were seeing the curlew.
