This am, in the little-visited "landfill" area of Oxon Hill, there were
2 Lincoln's Sparrows and a White-crowned imm, all in the company of many
Song Sparrows. Oddly, no White-throats were seen. A few Palm Warblers
(yellow race) were also present. Over the cove, a late Osprey wheeled
overhead.
I should add that y'day, near the S Capitol St Bridge, was a boldly
colored adult White-crowned, again accompanying Song Sparrows, and 2
Field Sparrows in an area new for them. As today, a (yellow) Palm
Warbler was again close by.
