It was still there at 10:15 a.m. when I departed also. It gave a good show of its eating technique - eating at least three large hornet type bugs in an hour. Throwing the bug in the air and catching it - like I've seen Herons do with large prey.

Hoping for a Maryland fallout, I headed up to Assateague to see what was along the beach.
Good numbers of sparrows including a possible a Lincolns near the fee station for the National Park - very shy and not helpful that it was along the road with traffic in the park, and possibly a White Crowned Sparrow - juv. near the entrance to the park.

There were PLENTY of Chipping Sparrows, Song Sparrows, White Throated Sparrows, I saw one Swamp Sparrow, Juncos, small flocks of Ruby Crowned Kinglets, and Yellow Rumped Warblers were so numberous around the bath house they reminded me of House Sparrows picking around the picnic benches. Saw several Palm Warblers, and one Chestnut-Sided Warbler. Also saw a Common Loon in the Bay on the way out of the park.
