Today was probably the birdiest day this fall in Ft. Bayard Park, and yesterday was not bad either. No real rarities, but it was great to finally see a decent number of birds.
Today's highlights (including the first warblers in weeks!)--
2 Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers (maybe 3)
at least 3 GC Kinglets
2 RC Kinglets
Eastern Phoebe
Yellow-rumped Warbler (the 1st of the fall for Ft. Bayard, at last)
Black-throated Green Warbler (looked like a 1st-year male)
2 Palm Warblers (both apparently "Yellow", one brighter than the other)
Juncos
Yesterday featured some of these (no warblers), plus a Blue-headed Vireo.
