Hello all. Parke John and I met up with others this morning at the area where the bird has been reported. We arrived around 8:30 and had no luck until Mike Burchett came by and told us it was a little farther down the road yesterday. So Mike and I went to the area and no more than 5 minutes later he landed on the wire right in front of us. WOW!
When heading down toward the boat ramp, it was hanging around the last stand of trees on the left side before the marsh and on wire in the same area right before the marsh area that opens up to the boat ramp. I hope that makes sense.
It is a must see. Very tame. It didn't care about us at all.
One very important note! Don't park in the road. The police have been called several times Due to complaints of people parking in the middle of the road. The parking lot to the boat ramp is only about 100 yards away. There is plenty of parking there.

Also, on route 50 mile marker 89 we had 1 Stilt Sandpiper, 1 Pectoral Sandpiper, both Yellowlegs and 4 Wilson's Snipe.
