As the flocks of Dark-eyed Juncos, White-throated Sparrows, Ruby-crowned
Kinglets and Yellow-rumped Warblers descend upon us for the winter from
the Boreal Forest of Canada, some of you may be interested in hearing
more about conservation of the places where many of these birds
originate.
Also, I noticed a diurnal migratory movement of Black-capped Chickadees
a number of weeks ago in Maine so interesting that folks are seeing
signs of it in your area too. There's a little note about my
observations on the chickadee movement I witnessed on my blog that can
