Hello Everyone,
We have had a very cooperative Pine warbler in front of 1919 M street NW for the last two days. The bird has remarkably stayed within a 50-yard area feeding in a row of American Elms. Since the weather probably won't change much tonight, I wouldn't be surprised if it is there again tomorrow!
Description:
Bird had no streaking on mantel, grayish/olive under parts, dark fleshy colored legs, wing bars, super faint supercilium, olive upperparts. Slow, deliberate foliage gleaning (almost like a black & white Warbler).
Cheers!
