The trip to Occoquan NWR to see the Le Conte's Sparrow is well worth 
the effort.  It didn't show yesterday but today at around 8:30 it did.  
I got three excellent sightings of the sparrow from about 20 feet.  It 
is truly a wonderful bird.

At the entrance to the refuge you may pick up a sheet of directions to 
the site where the bird has been seen off and on during the last week.
