Hi all,
The monthly trip to Blue Mash was attended by 9 people , a few who had not
been there before. It was a rather slow day, with 49 species seen. Weather
was unseasonably warm, with little or no wind. 45-70degrees.

Highlights were a late House Wren, many great looks a Savannah Sparrows, and
a fewPurple Finchs including a nice purple male. Other finds included a few
Palm Warblers, many Ruby-crowned Kinglet, a single Golden-crowned Kinglet,
Sharp-shinned Hawk, Red-tailed and Red-shouldered Hawks, lots of waxwings, a
single Fox Sparrow, a large flock (approx 50) of Killdeer, Ruddy Ducks, and A.
Black Ducks.

But still rather quiet for this time of year.
