Hi Everyone,

 

Jim Brighton and I spent the day birding our way between the Potomac and bayside Calvert County. Highlights were spotting the Neotropic Cormorant soon after dawn (at its originally favored log), good numbers of Winter Wrens and Brown Creepers, and a nice flock of scoters at North Beach, Calvert County.

Schoolhouse Pond, PG Co., Round 1 (~8:30 a.m.):
No gulls
Winter Wrens - 5

Myrtle Warbler - 1

Mount Calvert, PG Co.:
