My wife Lisa, 14-year-old son Adam and I birded Terrapin Park in
Queen Anne's County from 8am until about 10:30 am on Sunday.
Had several highlights, including very late OSPREY and GREY
CATBIRD. Also a SHARP-SHINNED HAWK flyover (a lifer for Adam), lots of
YELLOW-RUMPEDs, SONG SPARROWs and a RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET.
Bayside, we had two RED-THROATED LOONS flying southward over the
Bay. Heading back westward over the Bay Bridge, we were treated to a
Bald Eagle, being pursued by a brave GBBG who apparently had had its
breakfast stolen from it.
