I had some time this morning so I birded along the Susquehanna River looking
for Black-capped Chickadees. I started above Conowingo Dam and worked my
way to Susquehanna State Park. I finally found a single Black-capped in a
large mixed flock in the State Park. While leaving, on Webster-Lapidum Rd, I
found 3 more Black-caps, one of which was cooperative enough for a photograph.

Other highlights for the morning:
Snow Geese - 40 flying over the dam
Lesser Scaup - 30 above the dam
Ring-necked Duck - 1 with the scaup
Bonaparte's Gull - 5 above the dam, 1 at Lapidum
Laughing Gull - 4 above the dam, 2 below
many songbirds including several Winter Wrens and Kinglets, a Sapsucker, Fox
Sparrow, and a White-crown.
