I visited Oxbow Lake early this morning, just after sunrise.
There was a Red-shouldered Hawk perched in one of the distant trees. As I
was leaving, I heard two red-shoulders "kee-yeeear-ing" off in the
distance.
Added to yesterday's sightings:
Lesser Scaup (first one I've seen at the Oxbow)
Hooded Mergansers (both male and female)
Winter Wren
Northern Waterthrush
