Lake Roland: Fox Sparrows, Buffleheads, etc.

Hello all. 

I spent about 2 hours at Lake Roland this afternoon/evening and found some 
notable birds.

Highlights:

Great Blue Heron: 2  Fishing in the Jones Falls
Amer. Black Duck: 1  In the shallows by the mudflats
Mallard X Black Duck: 1  Same as above
GW Teal: 5  1 drake and 4 hens, hanging out by the mudflats
Bufflehead: 3  1 drake and 2 hens
TV: 7
B. Kingfisher: 2  
WB Nuthatch: 3
B. Creeper: 2  Along the main trail
W. Wren: 1  Brief look before it shot away from me
GC Kinglet: 2
RC Kinglet: 4
G. Catbird: 1  Getting late for him
E. Towhee: 2
Song Sparrow: 18 In several locations
WT Sparrow: 32+  Mostly along tracks and in trailside brush
Fox Sparrow: 2  1 along the train tracks and 1 in the brush off of the high 
berm overlooking the lake. I call this the "sparrow spot".
Junco: 12

Also:

All Chickadees seen/heard were "Carolinas"
