Hi --

A short jaunt around Lilypons, with a late start due to a late evening on the 19th! Not as many sparrows around as we had hoped, and alas, Lilypons seems to have given up on its feeders as the few that are left were all empty.

Best birds were LINCOLN'S SPARROW (1), COMMON YELLOWTHROAT (1, bright male), plus Eastern Phoebe, about 5-6 Wilson's Snipe, a Killdeer, a few Ruby-crowned Kinglets and a good number of Swamp Sparrows. No Fox or Tree, but we didn't cover the whole area. No swallows of any species. Raptors included Redtail, Red-shouldered, Sharp-shinned, Cooper's and Am. Kestrel. We checked the fields and no obvious larks, but Oland Rd. is being repaved and there is about a 12" drop-off now on the right so we couldn't pull over.

Came back by Black Hills and not as many duck as reported yesterday, but scads of Bufflehead, Ruddies, a few Gadwall and lots of Coot and three Pied-bill Grebes.
